We’re Senfeng Laser USA, and we make some pretty cool industrial equipment—laser cutters, welding machines, automation systems, that kind of thing. Business is booming, so we’re hiring for our Houston shop.

The Job

We need 2 Machine Fitter Helpers to work alongside our experienced fitters. Basically, you’ll be the extra pair of hands that keeps everything running smoothly.

Day-to-day stuff

• Help the fitter set up and assemble machine parts
• Get materials and tools ready before each job
• Hold things in place while the fitter does their thing
• Use hand tools and power tools (don’t worry, you’ll be supervised)
• Keep the workspace clean and organized
• Move heavy parts around with cranes, forklifts, etc.
• Make sure we’re following safety rules (OSHA stuff)
• Learn how to read basic blueprints and technical drawings
• Help check that everything meets quality standards

What We’re Looking For

Here’s the deal—you need to speak both English and Mandarin fluently. That’s non-negotiable since we work with teams in both languages.

Other than that:

• You should be comfortable doing physical work
• Can read instructions, manuals, and safety guidelines
• Okay with writing simple reports
• Good at following directions (written, verbal, or visual)
• Able to figure out problems as they come up
• Most importantly: willing to learn and not afraid to ask questions
