Job Position: Japanese Cuisine Chef – Work in the USA with Visa Sponsorship!
Company: Akri USA LL
Salary: $70,000 a year
Location: Costa Mesa, CA, USA
A Japanese restaurant group in the US is growing fast and needs experienced Japanese chefs. We’re the agency helping them find the right people.
If you know how to cook authentic Japanese food—especially yakiniku or kappo-style—and want to live and work in America, this could work.
What they’re paying
- Full health, dental, and vision insurance
- 12 days off (7 vacation + 5 sick days)
- Annual bonus based on how you perform
- $2,000 to help you relocate
- Visa sponsorship included
The job
Standard Japanese kitchen work:
- Cook Japanese dishes (yakiniku, kappo, robata—depends on which restaurant)
- Prep ingredients, cut and portion meat and fish
- Plate dishes properly
- Keep track of inventory
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness
- Whatever else comes up (they’ll explain more in the interview)
Locations
They have restaurants in:
- Torrance, California
- Costa Mesa, California
- Dallas, Texas
If you’re coming from Japan, they’ll probably start you in Texas, but California’s an option depending on your experience and preference.
What you need
- Real experience cooking Japanese food (yakiniku, kappo, or similar styles preferred)
- Sushi chefs welcome too, but they’re looking more for kappo/robata people
- You must speak Japanese
- English? Basic is totally fine—you don’t need to be fluent
How to Apply
Click “Apply Now“ and submit your resume. Include your culinary background, years of experience, and which location you’d prefer. We’ll contact you within a few days to discuss details and set up an interview.
