If you’re a food lover who wants to spend your summer working by the ocean, we’d love to meet you. Shade at Higgins Beach Inn is looking for two energetic Line Cooks to join our team in Scarborough for the 2026 season.

We run an elevated dinner program in a high-energy environment, and we’re looking for people who are passionate about great food and ready to dive in.

What the Job Looks Like

You’ll be working directly with our Executive Chef to keep the kitchen humming. You’ll be seasoning, prepping, and cooking everything from fresh local seafood and meats to soups and desserts.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience: Ideally, you’ve spent at least 6 months in a fast-paced or fine-dining kitchen (like a resort or club).
• Team Spirit: We’re a creative, tight-knit crew, and we need people who show up ready to help out wherever needed.
• Stamina: Kitchen work is physical and fast—you’ll be on your feet and moving throughout your shift.
