We’re a garage that’s growing fast, and we need a proper Master Technician who can handle the technical side of things. Not someone who just follows instructions – we need someone who can figure stuff out, lead when necessary, and actually enjoys the challenge of complex repairs.

What The Job Actually Involves

You’ll be running our workshop’s technical operations. That means:

• Diagnosing issues on all sorts of vehicles (cars, vans, different makes and models)
• Fixing mechanical and electrical problems – the stuff that requires actual skill
• Keeping vehicles maintained and running smoothly
• Training up the junior techs so they don’t keep asking the same questions
• Working independently but being there to guide the team when they’re stuck
• Troubleshooting the complicated cases that no one else can crack

Basically, you’re the person everyone turns to when they can’t figure something out.

What We’re Looking For

You Need:

• Real diagnostic skills – not just guesswork
• Strong knowledge of how vehicles actually work (mechanical and electrical)
• The ability to stay calm when it’s busy and everyone needs something fixed yesterday
• Experience doing this kind of work before
• A clean driving licence
• The confidence to work alone and the patience to teach others

Ideal But Not Essential:

• Previous Master Technician experience
• Time spent mentoring or supervising junior staff

You like working things out, you don’t need constant supervision, and you’re happy to share what you know with technicians who are still learning. You’re reliable, you take pride in getting it right, and you’re not afraid to take the lead when the situation calls for it.
