Are you an experienced nurse with a heart for emergency paediatric care? We’re looking for someone special to join our close-knit team at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.

The Pay: A competitive Band 7 salary (£47,810 – £54,710 pro rata).
Growth: This is a 8-month fixed-term role designed to sharpen your skills in managing paediatric injuries—from primary wound closure to interpreting X-rays.

Your day-to-day at the Alex

You won’t just be “working a shift.” You’ll be practicing autonomously, assessing and treating children (0-16 years) with everything from minor illnesses to fractures. You’ll be the one providing comfort, making clinical decisions, and role-modeling excellence for the wider team.

Who are we looking for?

An experienced nurse with a background in urgent or emergency care (ideally with kids!).
Someone who is calm under pressure and possesses a compassionate, professional touch.
A team player who is ready to learn, teach, and grow within a University Trust that leads in research.
