Job Position: Apache Mechanical Technicians (Avionics) Job in Qatar – Visa Sponsorship Available
Company: Boeing
Location: Qatar
Our team at Boeing Global Services is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced AH-64E Apache Avionics & Armament Tech to join us out at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
This is a full-time, 100% onsite role supporting the Qatar Air Force (QAF) Maintenance Augmentation Team. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, want to work with a great crew, and need visa sponsorship or relocation help to make it happen—we’ve got you covered.
What the job actually looks like
This isn’t just about turning wrenches or running routine diagnostics (though you’ll do plenty of that). You’re going to be the go-to expert for the QAF fleet. You’ll spend your days troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the whole ecosystem of the AH-64E—electrical, avionics, weapons systems, fire control, radar, visionics, and ASE.
You’ll handle weapons loading, arming/de-arming, run operational checks, and keep the shop stock and paperwork organized.
But here is the most rewarding part: you’ll be a mentor. A big piece of this role is providing hands-on coaching and OJT to QAF personnel, helping them grow into sharp, self-sufficient technicians.
What we need from you
We need someone who can hit the ground running, so we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AH-64 D/E electrical, avionics, armament, fire control, and ASE systems.
- 3+ years working with ULLS-A(E) or a similar aviation maintenance management system.
- The right training: You must be a graduate of a U.S. military aircraft avionics/armament maintenance course (or have an approved civilian/factory equivalent).
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience as an Army Service School Instructor (or civilian equivalent).
- Qualifications in other aviation maintenance fields.
- Past experience working in desert environments or the Middle East.
A few logistics
- Shift: This is primarily a 1st shift role, but aviation being aviation, you should be flexible enough to travel short-notice if required.
- Pay & Perks: We offer competitive base pay and a solid benefits package (health insurance, retirement, paid time off, etc.). Because this is an international, local-hire position in Qatar, the exact details are tailored to local guidelines and Qatari law.
- The Deadline: We are accepting applications through June 18, 2026.
At Boeing, we truly care about building a welcoming, inclusive team. We’re proud members of the Valuable 500 and gladly welcome candidates with disabilities—if you need any kind of flexibility or accommodation during the interview process, just tell us.
