We’re Hiring: Primary Teacher – Full-Time (Start Date: August 2025)
Location: British Junior Academy of Brussels (BJAB), Etterbeek – Brussels, Belgium

The British Junior Academy of Brussels is currently looking for a committed, energetic, and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our growing team in August 2025. We’re looking for someone who brings positivity into the classroom, enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, and truly cares about helping children succeed—academically and personally.

What kind of teacher are we looking for?


We’re not just looking for qualifications on paper—we’re looking for the right person. That said, to be considered for this role, there are a few essential requirements:

  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ideally, at least 3 years’ experience teaching in a British or British international school
  • Fluent or native-level English
  • Either the legal right to work in Belgium or eligibility for a Belgian work visa

Please note: We can only consider candidates who meet the essential criteria. However, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who meet the core requirements are also welcome to apply.
