We’re Perez Citrus, Inc., and we’re looking for a few good people to help us out with the citrus harvest this season. It’s honest work — outdoors, physical, and hands-on. If you like staying active, don’t mind getting a little dirty, and want a solid paycheck, you’ll fit right in with our crew.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Climb a ladder, pick fruit by hand, and fill up your picking bag
• Carry that bag (it gets heavy — about 80 to 100 lbs) and dump it in the bins
• Help clean up around the groves — trimming, fixing irrigation, clearing brush
• Work outside every day, even in the sun or light rain
• Keep a good pace — we all count on each other to get the job done

What We’re Looking For

• Someone with at least 1 month of experience doing farm or harvest work
• Physically fit — lots of bending, climbing, carrying
• OK working in the Florida heat (and sometimes chilly mornings or rain)
• Team player with a good attitude — show up, work hard, be respectful

Pay & Schedule

• $16.23 per hour
• Around 36 hours per week, give or take depending on weather
• We provide tools and gear — you just bring your work boots and a good mindset
• This is seasonal work, so it won’t last forever, but we’ll keep you busy while it does
